This is a great soother for baby.  My granddaughters love theirs.  They love to hold them and rub the ribbons and feel the different textures.   The blanket is made of 100% cotton flannel on one side and minky type fabric on the other.  You can machine wash and dry it,  but don't iron it.   It is pre-washed in baby-safe detergent and measures approximately 13" X 13".
